From hearts to swan, you can easily make the most beautiful latte art and also tell us about our coffees with passion. For our espresso bar, also called 'School of Coffee', in Amsterdam we are looking for  Baristas!

You have experience, knowledge and understanding of making high-quality coffee. You work closely with our head of bar and are co-responsible for ensuring, improving and continuing the quality and service that we at Bocca find important.

Job requirements:

• Hospitality is central to you and you are presentable;
• You are flexible in your deployment, including weekend shifts;
• You have knowledge of different types of coffee and brewing methods;
• You are a spontaneous and helpful team player;
• You have demonstrable barista experience;
• You have good oral communication.
  

What are you going to do?

Together with your colleagues you are responsible for the entire espresso bar.

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea drinks in a timely manner;
• Welcome and inform customers and actively meet their needs;
• Restocking refrigerators, shelves and cabinets. Accepting store deliveries;
• You follow all guidelines for cleanliness and maintenance;
• You are responsible for taking orders and handling payments;
• You are responsible for opening and closing the store;
• You ensure a clear division of tasks within the bar when you are working;
• You coach the team on quality, knowledge and customer experience if necessary;
• You support the Head of Bar / Store Manager;
• You work together to reduce waste and overhead costs.
