At Bocca Coffee, everything revolves around quality, craftsmanship, and growth. From green bean to delivery to our customers, our supply chain is the beating heart of the company. To keep this chain predictable, efficient, and scalable, we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC).
The role
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you play a central role in Bocca’s day-to-day operations. You oversee the chain from order → roasting → packaging → delivery and ensure everything runs smoothly. From a supply chain and planning perspective, you support Production, Roastery, Marketing, and Customer Care.
You work under the leadership of the Production Manager and in close collaboration with the Head of Roasting. In addition, you support improvement and optimization projects within Operations.
Concretely, this means you:

Provide data and insights to support decision-making

Manage daily and mid-term planning

Execute and monitor delivery structures (B2B and B2C)

Anticipate and resolve escalations before they grow

Implement operational changes and improvements

Guide the process around the introduction of new products and merchandise
What will you do?
Order, production & delivery planning
-
Daily planning in Xpector for the various production floor stations (such as coffee roasters, packing machines, and labeling)
-
Optimize order intake to improve production efficiency and future delivery routes
-
Proactively consult with Production and Roasting on the introduction of new (coffee) products and/or the impact of major maintenance, and monitor timelines
-
Actively adjust planning based on forecasts, urgent orders, or deviations
Inventory management & warehouse management
-
Ensure timely replenishment of existing items:
-
Green coffee (signaling needs to the Head of Roasting)
-
Packaging materials
-
Ancillary items (such as accessories, cleaning products, etc.)
-
Merchandise
-
-
Maintain so-called “run-out files” (forecasting)
-
Execute and/or support physical inventory counts
-
Co-organize and optimize pallet locations and replenish where necessary
-
Manage and reduce waste streams where possible
Delivery reliability & customer support
-
Identify and resolve delivery issues (in collaboration with Customer Care)
-
Maintain contact with delivery partners to solve structural delivery problems
-
Monitor and report KPIs related to delivery reliability (OTIF)
Supply chain analysis & optimization
-
Optimize utilization of coffee roasters
-
Propose improvements to processes and performance
-
Identify poorly performing items (slow movers)
-
Monitor and report KPIs related to production performance
-
Prepare monthly forecasting reports
-
Identify risks (capacity planning, supply chain reliability)
-
Initiate plans contributing to CO₂ reduction objectives
Product Information Management (PIM) (in collaboration with various departments)

Maintain item data in Exact Online
-
Create new items and clean up inactive items
-
Maintain product information on other platforms (such as online marketplaces)
-
Update product information for resellers (online retailers, wholesalers, etc.)
Marketing support (merchandise)

Inventory management of (custom) merchandise and store products
-
Monitor supplier lead times (also in relation to product launches)
-
Support merchandise development on behalf of Marketing
-
Assortment rationalization based on sales data, including commercial proposals for product bundles and shipping optimizations
Escalation & internal coordination

First point of contact for practical internal and external supply chain issues
-
Act as a buffer for solvable operational noise, allowing the Roastery Lead, Production Manager, and Head of Roasting to focus on long-term planning
